The Promenade was held at the 1st and 10 in Bellwood, Ne...  We all enjoyed good food, steaks for the most part.  They have a 16 oz. rib eye that was fantastic.

 

At 8:20 PM, the Promenade was called to order by Chef Dowling.

 

Roll Call of Officers:  All present or accounted for.

 

Minutes for the past month:  Notion made, seconded and passed to accept the minutes as read.

 

Finance report: Same as last month.  A report has been put on file with the Correspondant, if you would care to view it please get with the Correspondant after the Promenade. 

 

Reports of Officers and Committees:  None.

 

Sickness and Distress:  Don Rullo is on sick call.  (Update on Don as of May 9th 2009, he got a good report from the doctor and is now back at work.)

 

Correspondences:  None.

 

New Members:  None.

 

The next promenade will be at the Husker Bar II in Brainard, Ne. Tuesday May 19th 2009.  Attitude Adjustment Hour, (aka Social Hour) 6 PM, Supper at 7 PM, and Promenade at 8 PM.  At least we try to start with these times.  If you are coming on hwy. 92 turn south onto the spur that goes into Brainard take it into town to the swimming pool turn toward downtown go two blocks to the stop sign at Main, cross Main, the bar is located across the street from the American Legion.  The Husker Bar II’s address is 105 E. Washington St.  Jody said she would have a prime rib ready and that a limited menu would be available for those who might not want prime rib.  Jody said she wasn’t sure weather it would be a full prime rib dinner or just prime rib sandwiches.  Guess we will have to wait and see.

 

Fines:  Dean $2.00, Arney $1.00.

 

Old Business:           1st Order.  It was decided that the raffle, would be a trip to Branson, Mo. in the form of a voucher, it was decided that a voucher from AAA Travel for about $700 would be purchased and $100 would be thrown in for spending money, making the raffle worth a total of $800.00.  The raffle tickets would go for $5.00 each with some consideration made for buying 6 or 12 etc.

 

                              2nd Order.  Monsieur Toure Conducteur talked some more on the up coming bus trip, remember its open to all who would like to go and that we have to get at least 45 seats sold on the bus otherwise the Voiture has to pay the difference.

 

New Business:  None
