The Promenade was held at the Osceola NE. Country Club. We all enjoyed good food, steaks for the most
part. The evening was super, all had a
great time.
At 8:35 PM, the Promenade was called to order by Chef Dowling.
Roll Call of Officers:
All present or accounted for.
Minutes for the past month:
Notion made, seconded and passed to dispense with the reading of the
minutes.
Finance report:
Transfer mature CD to a new account, best interest now is a whopping
1.9%. Notion made, seconded, and passed
to accept the finance report as read.
Reports of Officers and Committees: Monsieur Toure
Director, Dean Pearsoll reported that the Offutt Air
Show made a profit of about $200.00; all in attendance gave Dean a large “Atta Boy” and a pat on the back for a job well done.
Leonard Anderson reported the he will retire at the end of
2009; his replacement is unknown at this time.
Sickness and Distress:
None.
The next promenade will be at the Country Shadows Golf Course
6767 Shadow Ridge Pl. Columbus, NE. (Go
north on 48th Avenue past the CC College/Elks Country Club entrance
to Shadow Ridge Pl. turn east go about 1 to 2 blocks from the corner, then its
on the south side of the street.) The date is Oct. 20th, 2009. Attitude Adjustment Hour, (aka Social Hour) will be 6 PM, supper, 7 PM, and Promenade
at 8 PM. At least we try to start with
these times. (We have had several
Christmas parties here)
