The Promenade was held at the First and Ten Bar and Grill in Bellwood, NE.  We all enjoyed good food, steaks for the most part.  The evening was super, all had a great time.  Fifteen Voitures out of thirty one is great.

At 8:13 PM, the Promenade was called to order by Chef Dowling.

Roll Call of Officers:  All present or accounted for.

Minutes for the past month:  Notion made, seconded and passed to dispense with the reading of the minutes.

Finance report:  Copy of the report is on file with the original copy of these notes.

Reports of Officers and Committees:  None.

Allen Arp from V1018 sold pins and magnets for POW/MIA and invited all who would like to come to V1018 Dec. Promenade in West Point, NE.

Nomination of new members:  Marcel Kovar was submitted and if all goes as planned we are going to try and wreck him in Feb.  (This being for planning purposes.)

New Business:  #1 V 1018 will have their Promenade in West Point at the American Legion post on Dec, 10, 2009.  I think I might do a road trip Thursday from the Columbus, NE. American Legion. Departing around 5:00 or 5:15 PM.

#2 It was asked if V841 we would like to do a Prime Rib Dinner, New Years Eve at the Columbus, NE. American Legion this year.  A notion was made, seconded and passed, so we are now going to do a prime rib dinner for a money maker for the Voiture this year.  All of you need to try and be there to assist as this is our only money raiser for the year.

#3 Garry Baker from the Columbus VFW has asked V841 to assist next year for Veterans Day with the gathering of prizes from about 10 or 12 businesses here in Columbus.  A notion was made, seconded and passed to assist Garry next year with this task.

Old Business:  None.

Sickness and Distress:  It has been reported that Don Zima has been under the weather, a card will be sent.

The next promenade will be at the Husker Bar II, in Brainerd, NE.  Attitude Adjustment Hour, (aka Social Hour) will be 6 PM, supper, 7 PM, and Promenade at 8 PM.  At least we try to start with these times.  If you can find Brainerd then you shouldn’t have any problem finding the Husker Bar II on Washington street (I think it’s the main drag.)  If I remember right it’s across the street from the American Legion.

Fines:  Dave Z. $5.00, Billy $3.00, Larry S $2.00, Dean $1.00, Thank you Dave.

Having no other business we closed in due process 8:47 PM.
