The Promenade was held at the Country Shadows Golf Course Club house in Columbus, NE.  We all enjoyed good food, steaks for the most part.  The evening was super, all had a great time. 

This was our annual Christmas party; the Voiture sprang for the beverages.  Not a bad turn out for only having 30 Voitures.

 

At 9:05 PM, the Promenade was called to order by Chef Dowling.

 

Roll Call of Officers:  All present or accounted for.

 

Minutes for the past month:  Notion made, seconded and passed to dispense with the reading of the minutes.

 

Finance report:  Copy of the report is on file with the original copy of these notes.

 

Reports of Officers and Committees:  None.

 

New Business:  #1 Owen announced that he had nurses training pins.

 

                          #2 Don Rullo presented the Ladies with roses on behalf of the Voiture for there help with last months New 

                               Years Eve prime rib fund raiser.  Thanks to all who helped.

 

Old Business:  None.

 

Sickness and Distress:  None.

 

The next promenade will be at the American Legion in Columbus, NE. February 16th 2010.  I know we voted on Schuyler, (First Chance Last Chance), however it was unknown at that time that the Boy Scouts were having a Chili Feed at the Columbus, American Legion, after consulting with at least 7 of our officers, Arney included, we decided to support the Boy Scouts, so hence the change of venue. Attitude Adjustment Hour, (aka Social Hour) will be 6 PM, supper, 7 PM, and Promenade at 8 PM.  At least we try to start with these times. 

 

Fines:  Dean, Wayne, Arney, and Ron $2.00, Merlin and Larry $1.00.
