The American
Legion Riders
|
Chapter 84 ALR formed July 23 2007 |
|
Who We Are |
|
The American Legion Riders are members of The
American Legion who are also motorcycle enthusiasts. They can be found
participating in parades, partaking in motorcycling events, and
supporting the communities in which they live, work, and play. Members
of the ALR come from The American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary, and the Sons of
The American Legion. The American Legion Riders were formed...
...to participate in parades and other
ceremonies that are in keeping with the Aims and Purposes of The
American Legion.
...to promote motorcycle safety programs and to provide a social
atmosphere for The American Legion members who share the same interest.
...to use our Association to promote and support programs of The
American Legion.
The American Legion Riders is not a M/C,
and does not practice M/C rules or regulations. The American Legion
Riders is family-oriented, just as is its parent organization: The
American Legion.

Veterans Day Nov 11th 6 members
of the Hartman Family attended Central City's annual Veterans' day parade.
Members attending Mike, Vern, Bronson, Chuck, Don, and Zona. They started
the day at the Ag Park with the local vets were reminiscing and then eat a
great roast beef lunch provided by Hartman Post, The Veteran's of Foreign
Wars, and Disabled American Veteran's. On to Central City and after a stop
at the new Central City post home they formed up and rode in the annual
parade. The parade was followed by a very nice Veteran's day program with
Past Department Commander Bill Crosier as the main speaker. The local Boy
Scout troop did and excellent job raising the flag and the Central City

Fun Ride
Nov, 28, 2009 4 riders road down to Malcolm only to find out the Lounge was
closed. Being very resilient they set of to find a watering hole. That they
did and after some kicking tires and telling lies they returned home. What a
beautiful day for a ride! Temperatures in the mid 50s and no wind, no
tickets, and no crashes. What more could a rider ask for. |
